A FEW RULES TO REMEMBER FOR WATSTOCK 2010
- NO GLASS WILL BE PERMITTED ON THE FESTIVAL FIELD
- ALL ALCOHOL MUST BE PURCHASED AND CONSUMED ON THE WATSTOCK FIELD.
- YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED ENTRY WITH YOUR OWN ALCOHOL.
- UNDER 12’S ARE FREE BUT ONLY WHEN ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT
The idea behind Watstock was to raise money for our own village charities, clubs and community projects. All profits from Watstock go back into our community, and last year, thanks to the 3000 people that attended Watstock, we were able to donate £2,500.00 to Watlington Pre-School towards their relocation project.
Unfortunately although previous festivals have been free, mounting costs have meant that this year we will have to make a small charge of £3 per person, but with added attractions for the children, craft and trade stalls to browse, plenty of food stands, toilet facilities on site and a fully licensed Beer Tent; you won’t need to leave the Watstock Arena at all. Watstock merchandise together with band merchandise and festival programmes will all be available on the Festival field also.
What easier way to support your own community than to simply sit and enjoy all that Watstock has to offer.
Watstock would not be possible without the continued support of Watlington residents and sponsors, Watlington Parish Council and the Local Police and Authorities who all offer advice and support throughout the year.
We want to continue Watstock for years to come so please help us by behaving responsibly.
